Synopsis:
DARPA’s Defense Sciences Office is soliciting innovative research
proposals in the area of Systems of Neuromorphic Adaptive Plastic
Scalable Electronics (SyNAPSE). Proposed research should investigate
innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in neuromorphic
electronic devices that are scalable to biological levels. Specifically
excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements
to the existing state of practice.
