Summary of Introduction to Breakout Session
Participants in Dr. Nancy Kopell's group heard from subject matter experts who discussed four aspects of developments in neurosciences and their applications to technology. Topics included the molecular level and its implications in development; systems-level sensory and motor systems; cognitive levels (how do mental processes arrive from brain events); and the special role of computational neuroscience in building bridges among many of the discussion topics.
