Security and Intelligence Directorate & Information Resources Directorate - Office of Management Operations
The men and women of these directorates were instrumental in helping DARPA become one of the few DoD organizations accredited as a provider of its own computer network defenses. Their commitment to excellence and innovative business processes led to DARPA achieving one of the highest audit scores among DoD organizations and the highest level of certification. DARPA now has the latitude and discretion to define its own computer security controls and protection parameters, which will result in increased capabilities against cyber threats.
The combined efforts of the Security and Intelligence Directorate and the Information Resource Directorate in achieving certification as a DARPA computer network defense provider reflect great credit upon them and DARPA.

Ms. N. Tina Stuard - Contracts Management Office
As Contracts Officer, Ms. Stuard was instrumental in the successful start of the Very High Efficiency Solar Cell (VHESC) program and in securing innovative information displays for DARPATech 2007.
The VHESC program will provide the Joint Forces with cost-effective solar power sources that can be used to replace batteries, which will result in significant cost savings and a reduction in operational logistic requirements. The DARPATech 2007 information displays that Ms. Stuard procured effectively communicated DARPA’s mission to the 3,000 conference attendees and directly led to an increased number of new proposals submitted to DARPA. Ms. Stuard’s tireless commitment to success was essential to DARPA’s ability to accomplish its mission.
