Goals:
Provide a new generation of economically viable high productivity computing systems for the national security and industrial user community (2010)
- Implement an integrated approach to high end architectures and software tools and environments
- Address technical issues of performance, programmability, portability, and robustness
- Establish productivity metrics that will help a user determine a system's value for a particular mission area.
Invigorate the high-end software/hardware system architecture research community over the next decade.
