Quint Networking Technology (QNT)

Program Manager: Lt Col Stephen Waller (TTO)

Objectives:

The desired QNT data link functional capability includes the ability to transmit target coordinates to a weapon in flight from either an aircraft or a dismounted ground unit, to disseminate sensor data, alter missions of dismounted ground units, unmanned airborne platforms and weapons, to allow autonomous bomb impact assessment or bomb hit indications and to enable off board sensor data dissemination and control supporting cooperative engagement. The total package supports combat applications in the USN's FORCEnet Concept and the USAF's Global Strike Concepts. There are direct ties to support the Precision Engagement and Full Dimension Protection missions under Joint Vision 2020.
