Frequently Asked Questions
Q : Should my company/academic institution team together with industry or submit a proposal together with academia colleagues?
A : Team development is solely the offeror’s responsibility and, as such, it would be improper for DARPA to provide a direct response to this question. The teaming approach chosen should allow for the program objectives/metrics to be met and include team members that have the requisite experience and capabilities that are necessary to meet the program goals.
Q : Where can teaming information and potential team members be located?
A : A teaming website has been set up for your convenience. Below is the link to the website: https://www.davincinetbook.com/teams
Q : Is it OK for a team to participate in two different proposals in this program?
A : Yes, the BAA establishes no restrictions regarding teaming, to include the number of proposals a single company/academic team may be a part of.
Q : Can the Statement of Work (SOW) contain proprietary information?
A : No, per Section III on page 14 of the STT-RAM BAA, no proprietary information should be included in the SOW.
