Dr. Aaron D. Lazarus

Dr. Lazarus joined DARPA in October of 2007 as a program manager for the Strategic Technology Office.

Dr. Lazarus came to DARPA from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, where he led the development of reduced signature naval platforms, and the prerequisite enabling technologies. These technologies included radar absorbing structures, conformal antenna systems, and signature design codes. Dr. Lazarus's primary interests are in maritime signature control, ocean hydrodynamics, and multifunctional composites.

Dr. Lazarus received his BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute, and his MSE and PhD in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University
