Amendment 01 Description

The purpose of Amendment 1 to DARPA-BAA-09-22, Strategic Technologies, is to extend the due date for receipt of proposals. The following changes are made:

A. Page 4, change the "BAA Closing Date" from 10 March 2010 to 11 September 2010.

B. Page 23, section 4.3, the first sentence is changed to read as follows:

This BAA shall be open from date of publication through 2:00 p.m. local time Arlington, Virginia, 11 September 2010.

All other terms and conditions of this announcement remain unchanged.

 

Original Description

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) Strategic Technology Office (STO) is soliciting proposals under this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the performance of research, development, design, and testing that directly supports Strategic Technology Office (STO). This includes Space and Near-Space Sensors and Systems; Strategic and Tactical Networks; Information Assurance; Counter Underground Facilities; Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Defense; Small Unit Operations; Maritime Operations; and Core Strategic Technologies. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice.

DARPA-BAA-09-22, entitled Strategic Technologies, is provided as an attachment to this solicitation notice and includes information on the specific areas of interest, the submission process, proposal formats, as well as all other pertinent administrative and contractual information. The BAA is attached as a Word Document File, BAA 09-22 11 Mar 2009.
