Description

CROSSHAIRS Industry Day is being conducted in conjunction with the anticipated release of the CROSSHAIRS Phase I BAA. The objective of the Phase I CROSSHAIRS program is to develop a next-generation sensor system with the capability to detect and precision locate the point of origin of a range of threats including bullets, rocket propelled grenades (RPGs), mortars, man portable air defense systems (MANPADS) and anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). This system should have sufficiently low production cost to enable wide fielding on a variety of vehicles and platforms. Phase I will be a 12-month effort to mature sensor system technologies and conduct live fire static demonstration testing of a prototype CROSSHAIRS sensing system within 9 months of award.

Industry Day will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2004 from 1-4pm in Arlington, Virginia. Offerors interested in participating in Industry Day should contact Mr. Ed Lopez for registration information, 703-276-7702 ext. 318 or lopeze@centrava.com.
