Description

This RFP amendment is issued to: (1) Replace Table 1, Attachment 5 (TRD), with the attached table. The change is in the payload volume from 120 cubic inches to 385 cubic inches. Total volume should be 505 instead of 240.; and, (2) Section 1.2 of the TRD is updated to incorporate the following additional language: 1.2 Mission Capabilities. Preflight/Launch. The AV shall be capable of being launched from the back of a M998 HMMWV; Flight Performance. The AV shall have a service ceiling of at least 11,000 ft. density altitude with 100 ft/min vertical rate of climb capability. The AV shall have a flight range of at least 10 km at standard sea level (SSL). AV flight endurance shall be at least 2 hours at SSL. The AV will be capable of hovering and cruising at speeds up to 50 knots at SSL. Recovery. It is desirable to have the AV be capable of being landed / recovered on the back of a stationary M998 HMMWV.
